Message to a New Friend
Out of the Xx Group

Thanks again for taking time to write something of your testimony.
Reflecting on other things I have learnt of that group and like ones over the years, what has become clear is that indeed some of the folk are well meaning.
But like all things, if you don't follow the correct design of things - nothing works properly. I mean if you do not follow a house plan properly you might make a house that falls over, and which while people are living in it, may cause them injury or harm.
Building a fellowship is a bit like that. The Lord Jesus said He will build His church, and when man tries to do it by himself, he ends up making something that falls over, and hurts people who try to be in it.
A New Law?
So often I see people trying to take the teachings of the Lord Jesus and His first apostles, and make some kind of rigid rules up out of things that actually require the Holy Spirit to minister to our hearts and lead us into all truth over.
Such ones are often trying to make a law like Moses was told to give the Jews. Make a law out of parts of the New Testament and impose it on believers often with the same horrible sense of damnation and instant judgement on people if they do not accept everything written in their madeup New Book of Law!
Not by .. But by My Spirit
Your story does show one thing very clearly - that God's love is true - and that every good thing you learnt while amongst the Xx people, is good and true, because God is good and true, and was Himself the origin of the marvellous message you received even there about the goodnesss and grace of God to forgive our sins freely in Christ!
I hope and pray that you will continue in God's grace and truth - making His great love known to many in this life.
Without your name on them I have forwarded yours words anonomously to our brother in Australia who is trying to understand what the man, he is witnessing to, has been through in the Xx thing.
